Drawings from Turkey.
My recent holiday to Turkey inspired me to look at the wallpaper designs taken from sketches from around the turkish harbours. i wanted to create something abstract and masculine using subtle colouring.

screen print, emroidery and eyelets...
These pieces were inspired by bridges and water. I looked at screen printing some of my drawings to create abstract prints and also used stencilling to create random blocks of colour of shape. I then tore up all my samples and re-attached them to create these lovely samples.
Later I looked at adding accetate and eyelets to different areas to add a different element of texture.
